Night life in Township (Port Elizabeth)
The
tour starts with a visit to the Red Location Museum followed by dinner hosted by
a township family. The tour ends with welcome drinks at a township pub (tavern).
We provide as much opportunity as is possible for an interaction with the
locals. The Frontier Country
The
area is home to San, Khoikhoi, Xhosa, Dutch, English and German descendants.
Fierce wars that would later shape the history of South Africa were fought in
this area. We visit remains of forts that are evidence of the wars fought here.
We also look at the positive contribution made by each of the different groups
to the development of the region.
